Research and Development
DCD R&D team is a professional research and development team consisting of national level, ministry level experts and senior engineers around 200 people, which is a combination combustion engine research institute of research,trial manufacture,testing and management into one,being capable of developing products independently with domestic as well as world advanced level. and the departments of design development,application engineering,testing,comprehensive management and manufacturing process as well are in service according to the operation.In 2003,DCD introduced Japan Nissan technology and produced CYQD32 diesel engines, which becomes the pioneer for high-grade passenger vehicles powered with diesel engines.
Later on, in 2004,DCD developed China first CY4D47 diesel engines with the technology of OHC(Overhead camshaft),advanced design such as integral bearing cap trapezoidal cylinder block, all these make the engine take a lead and have more advantages than any other similar products in China national industry.
And in 2005,DCD cooperated with Austrian AVL consultation company, jointly developed a 4-valve high pressure common rail CY4102-C3 diesel engine with Euro III emission standard.
In 2006,DCD cooperated with US International Truck and Engine Corporation and introduced NGD3.0 diesel engine with platform being upgraded to Euro IV and Euro V emission standard, which has filled the gap for domestic 3L high-grade diesel engines

Name:Equipments for diesel engine
Description: At present there are 13 sets test desk in DCD Technical Center test department, therein there are 11 sets common engine performance test desk, 2 sets for emission test desk. In 2000, we imported one set EURO II emission test desk. It included: electric swirl measure power machine, partial PM analysis system, gas analysis system, filter paper smoke meter, penetrometer (smoke), and ect. There are domestic standard inlet system, standard gas supply system as well. It can carry out EURO II engine emission test (R49) and conventional performance test. In 2007, we imported one set EURO III emission test desk. It included: Alternating electric measure power machine, gas emission directly collecting system, filter smoke meter, penetrometer (smoke), high precision instant state fuel consuming meter, fuel temperature controlling meter and pressure controlling system, and standard inlet system and ect. There are domestic standard gas supply system, and cooling freeze water system. It can automatically carry out EURO III engine emission test. And there are 11 sets domestic engine performance test desk. It included: water swirl measure power machine, filter smoke meter, fuel consume meter, and fuel temperature controlling and one set manual operation test desk. It mainly carries out engine performance test.
